Savannah

I like to read now. I can understand what I am reading and that makes me feel smart! I wanted to work hard with Renee because she showed me that learning could be fun. I am a beginner at English spelling (because I always went to French school before) and so I need help but it doesn't stop me. I am excited to learn because then I can write my relatives letters. I really liked working with Renee in Montreal because she helped me work with molding clay to learn my alphabet and words and we also played a game with my koosh balls. Now I feel really smart. (8 years old)

Savannah's Mom
Her father and I have both noticed an immense difference in Savannah in so many areas of her development. We notice that she has regained her self-esteem and self-confidence. She knew something was different about her but she was afraid to speak up about the struggles she was having in school. Your program has given her a new lease on learning. Savannah enjoys reading and then writing about what she has read. Her comprehension is no longer confused because she is able to focus by 'getting her point'. I am continuing to work on the trigger words/exercises with Savannah and we both enjoy this exercise and I find that her spelling shows a marked improvement since taking your program. She has not experienced any headaches or nose bleeds which we attributed to her stress and struggle with learning and focusing both while reading and during school. Savannah actually looks forward to and sings about going to school each day and we believe you were a great contributor to bringing the enjoyment of learning back into her life.

Luciano
Now I feel more confident! I can read and write better. I really like reading now and it helps me a lot in school. (9 years old)

Luciano's Mom
My son Luciano was enrolled in the program at Dyslexiability during the summer before grade five. The year before he had felt alienated by his classmates because of his learning disabilities. His confidence was down because he felt he just wasn’t smart enough. After this program, Luciano felt an incredible burst of confidence. Now going to school isn’t a nightmare; it’s an opportunity to learn new and exciting things. This program was perfect for my son because Renee made him feel special about his unique talents and gifts.

Eleanor
I can read now! Before I got all mixed up but now I can read. Even one trigger word makes a difference. I am really happy that I took the course with you. I want to read now and I never thought I would. School is a lot more fun now and I like to go. I don’t get tired anymore and I don’t get car sick anymore either! (9 years old)

Eleanor's Mom
Finding Renée and Davis Symbol Mastery has been the best thing that has ever happened to Eleanor and our family. It provided the piece of the puzzle that has always been missing.

Since taking the course, Eleanor is happier and more relaxed than she has ever been. Renée helped her see that she is quick, bright and gifted, not dumb. And we have learned a lot too - we have a deeper understanding of her now, which has made us much better parents to her.

She is highly motivated and has quickly mastered her tools and now she controls her dyslexia, not the other way around. It is such a joy to see her so happy. Everyone who knows her sees the difference.

We can't believe it, but she is back at her school in a trilingual program and enjoying it! Now when she comes home, she is not exhausted, instead she is full of energy. We still have lots of work to do on the trigger words, but we keep it fun and work as a team. Her reading and comprehension have improved by at least 2 grades in all 3 languages!

Dyslexiability is the best gift our family could have asked for and it's also a wonderful new word in our vocabulary!

Michael
I feel different and have more confidence now. My tools help me to calm down. I feel smarter now I can understand the words better. Reading is easier. I can master things and my tools really help me a lot, I don't even say umm umm umm all the time anymore. (10 years old)

Michael's Mom
I have noticed a huge difference between Michael oriented and disoriented. I see he now has a willingness to learn new things that didn't stop short due to discouragement. I have seen exhaustion from using his mind without complaint. This is the first time in a long time I have seen him very happy with himself. This is also the first time in a long time he has been able to focus and work continuiously.

Nelly
WOW what a big difrence! I feel like I can learn better. I got better at reading, writing and hearing the right sounds. I know when I can tell when I am disoriented, and I know how to come back and get focused again. Even my attitude got better with my tools. I can't wait to keep doing the clay at home and to use my tools at school and for everything else too, forever! (13 years old)

Nelly's Mom
I noticed that for the first time ever, Nelly mentioned that she picked up a book of her own free will and accord. She seems happier and at ease, and her attitude has become much more positive and mature.

Matilda
I found this program very fun and interesting. I learned a lot, even though it felt like all I was doing was playing and having fun. During this week I got more confident, my handwriting got much better and so did my spelling. This is all thanks to Mrs. Renée. If it wasn't for this program I would still be writing like a 2 year old and speling like one too. I think this program is good and I think it can help a lot of people. (16 years old)

Matilda's Mom
Matilda is more confident and very calm, and seems relieved. She now has more insight into her problems and strength; things are clearer to her. She seems more focused, and is "testing" everything she's learned.

Jules
Now I can read better witout being disoriented.

I finally WANT to read a book or the newspaper. Also, I can remember what I read, which is very importat in school or study. Before, when I wanted to write or read a text, I was always "spacing out" and now I can control my orientation so that doesn't happen nearly as much anymore.

My goal in life is to become a radio announcer. Now I feel more confident to read the news. This week I learned how to read witout always being tired. Now I can read a newspaper article witout being completly exhausted. This makes a lot of things much easier for me. (18 years old)

Jule's Mom
Jules is a lot more talkative now; he really has more of a taste for reading. Most importantly, he finally admitted that he isn't stupid! He clearly learned a lot during his program with Renée at Dyslexiability. It made a big diffrence for Jules to meet and work with someone else who had similar experiences in life, someone else with learning difficulties.

Stéphane
For me, the bigest change this week was that my head feels clearer and so my thoughts are more clear as a result. The pictures slowed down, which is a major thing for me. Things were always buzzing around jumping from one picture (thought) to another. As I read, it is not only easier, but there is more information coming in and, more importantly, more information staying in when I read to myself. (38 years old)
